The 13th New Zealand Asia Pacific Film Festival concluded successfully in Auckland on Friday, 21 November 2025. Jointly organised by the New Zealand Asia Trust, New Zealand Māori Tourism, the New Zealand Culture and Arts Foundation, and the New Zealand Multicultural and Arts Exchange Centre, this year’s festival presented a vibrant programme featuring 14 carefully selected films.
The festival offered a series of engaging highlights. The opening red carpet ceremony welcomed guests from China, Japan, Korea, and New Zealand, followed by an awards ceremony attended by more than 600 spectators at the SkyCity Theatre. The film masterclass held at the University of Auckland drew over a hundred participants, while Chinese film professionals also joined a film forum hosted by the New Zealand Film Commission. In cinemas, filmmakers and cast members interacted with audiences through Q&A sessions, with many screenings selling out.
Top honours announced at the closing ceremony included: Best Film Patch the Wind, Chase the Shadow; Best Documentary The Sinking of Lisbon Maru; Best Director Yang Zi; Best Actor Makiya Yamaguchi (Japan); Best Supporting Actor Ci Sha; and Best Actress Angela Yuen (Hong Kong, China). The ceremony also featured the NOYIFF (New Order Youth International Film Festival) short film awards, attracting strong participation from young film enthusiasts. The festival concluded on a high note, celebrating creativity and cross-cultural exchange across the Asia-Pacific region.
2025年11月21日（星期五），第13届新西兰亚太电影节在奥克兰圆满落幕。本届电影节由新西兰亚洲信托基金会、新西兰毛利旅游局、新西兰文化艺术基金会及新西兰多元文化艺术交流中心联合主办，活动内容丰富多彩，共有14部精选影片参与展映。
电影节期间亮点纷呈。开幕式红毯仪式邀请了来自中国、日本、韩国及新西兰的嘉宾出席，并与600多名观众一同参与天空城剧场举行的颁奖典礼。奥克兰大学的电影大师课吸引逾百名参与者，中国电影业界代表也参加了新西兰电影委员会举办的电影论坛。此外，参展的艺人及剧组成员在影院与观众进行互动问答，多场放映更是一票难求。
电影节共评选出多项大奖：最佳电影《补风追影》，最佳纪录片《里斯本丸沉没》，最佳导演杨子；最佳男演员日本演员 Makiya Yamaguchi；最佳男配角此沙；最佳女演员中国香港演员 Angela Yuen。同场举行的NOYIFF（New Order Youth International Film Festival）短片颁奖仪式也吸引了众多青年影迷参与，为本届电影节画上圆满句号。
